Volunteering

Do you have a passion for art? Why not join SAM’s amazing team of volunteers? It’s a great way to get involved with art in the community, while gaining valuable experience within a cultural organisation. SAM is at an exciting time in its history, and arts and culture play an important role in community life. Volunteering offers a unique and rewarding opportunity where you can experience our programs, exhibitions, events, collections, and meet artists and other arts and cultural workers first-hand.

We have a diverse volunteer base, with an amazing group of people who range in ages, education levels and career backgrounds. Volunteering for an art institution is a great way of expressing your love of art to the broader community.
