<p>A FREE weekly online workshop series lead by artist Aiofe Billings </p>

<p><strong>Every Wednesday 28th&nbsp;of October and 4th&nbsp;, 11th&nbsp;and 18th&nbsp;of November from 5pm – 6.30pm on ZOOM</strong></p>

<p>No matter your cause, artist Aoife Billings has the stitch for you. Join her in this beginner-friendly course of embroidery that will make the heartstrings sing.</p>

<p>Learn how to make an embroidery patch for yourself or a loved one over this four-week intensive. Alternatively, why not donate your patch to a front-line worker as a good luck charm? The recipient can iron or sew the patch into their clothing as a charm for love, support and safety.</p>

<p>Participants will receive a materials pack with the purchase of the $10 ticket (please note, this is now a click and collect option from the SAM shop only). </p>

<p>If you would like to source the materials yourself, please choose the free ticket option and see the material list below.</p>

<p>Materials needed:<br>-Small embroidery hoop (with screws to tighten)</p>

<p>-Two chenille needles between the sizes 15-21 (a medium sized needle with the eye big enough for embroidery thread)</p>

<p>-At least 4 different embroidery thread colours (DMC embroidery thread is best for beginner&#8217;s as it&#8217;s less likely to fray)</p>

<p>-30cm of white cotton fabric cut off the roll, not sheer or as thick as denim, something in between</p>

<p>-Iron on patch backing</p>

<p>Limited places available, bookings essential via ticket box below. </p>
