Ceramic Raku Tall/Small Round Vase. This is a Consignment Artist please refer to Terms and Conditions

This tall/small piece was coated with two different copper glazes separated by a wax resist line. It was rapidly fired in a raku kiln to 1000c before being removed when red hot with tongs and then placed in a metal bin containing sawdust. The burning causes reaction with the copper and blackens the unglazed areas resulting in the amazing surface. 

This piece is made for display and is not as robust as stoneware fired works. Handle carefully and was by hand
