SAM Presents: Life Drawing at Mitchelton Estate
Set against the backdrop of sweeping vineyard views at Mitchelton Estate, you’re invited to join us for a special life drawing session led by artist Elsie Preston, inspired by the figurative paintings of artist Brett Whiteley.
Over the 90-minute session, Preston will guide you through a series of exercises as you capture the poses of a nude life model using a range of drawing materials, from crayon to charcoal.
No prior sketching or life drawing experience is necessary – this relaxed session is open to all skill levels, and all materials are provided. After the session, attendees are warmly invited to stay for a 2-course lunch and a glass of wine at Mitchelton for a special rate of $55 per person.
This program is suited to ages 16 years and over.
