Educator Professional Learning After Dark: Nyini Woka (My Place)

Join the SAM Education Team for a special after-hours look at new major exhibition Nyini Woka (My Place), exclusively for educators.

Bringing Yorta Yorta artists and stories into dialogue with broader First Nations voices from across the continent, Nyini Woka (My Place) features artworks from Vincent Namatjira, Lyn Thorpe, Danie Mellor, Julie Dowling, and Albert Namatjira to extend to all an invitation to consider what it means to be here today on Yorta Yorta Country and beyond.

The session will begin with a curatorial introduction by SAM Curator – Indigenous Belinda Briggs, followed by an exploration of the accompanying Education Kits designed for primary, secondary, and VCE students.
