Opening Day Celebration | Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso
Celebrate the opening of Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso with a vibrant day of art, creativity, and entertainment at SAM.
Enjoy family-friendly activities, hands-on creative workshops, live music, outdoor activations, delicious treats, and a special afternoon talk from Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki’s Senior Curator of International Art, Dr. Sophie Matthieson. With experiences for all ages across the museum, this lively launch day is the perfect way to welcome this exciting, once-in-a-generation exhibition to Shepparton.
A free shuttle bus will run across the weekend between the Shepparton CBD, Shepparton Train Station, SAM, and MOVE, making it even easier to explore Shepparton’s cultural destinations.
