Picasso on the Road: SAM Van Outreach Program
23 May - 20 September

Picasso on the Road: SAM Van Outreach Program | May – September
The SAM Van Outreach Program, delivered by SAM museum professionals, brings our exhibitions to life beyond the gallery, providing engaging, hands-on learning experiences directly to schools and community spaces.
From May to September 2026, the SAM Van will bring a set of cases featuring a curated selection of objects connected to key concepts and artist from Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso.
Designed to spark curiosity and conversation, the objects offer an accessible entry point into the exhibition, encouraging participants to explore ideas around identity, environment, and creative experimentation. Through guided discussions and interactive activities led by SAM staff, participants will engage with the work of artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Georges Braque, and Henri Matisse, and discover how modern art transformed the way we see the world today.
