SAM Autumn Camp: Painting the Outdoors – Plein Air with Greg Beckenham

Step outside and let nature be your inspiration! In this special plein air painting session, kids will work alongside painter Greg Beckenham, capturing the beauty of Victoria Park Lake through expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colours.
Young artists will begin by experimenting with colour mixing and brush techniques, learning how to paint the sky, water, and landscape using bold strokes and playful textures. Inspired by Greg Beckenham’s approach, they’ll create their own lively outdoor scenes using acrylic paint on paper.
