Venture into the world of punch needling with us at SAM!

Inspired by the glorious colours and hues featured in Kaleidoscope, our new ceramics showcase, this workshop will teach you the basic punch needling techniques and give you the skills to craft your own designs. You'll get to take your own specialty punch needle and embroidery hoop home with you so you can keep tufting away at home!

Punch needle is an adaptable medium - you'll be able to make wall art, decorate your own tote bags, make patches, or fill your hoop with thick, lush loops of yarn for an ultra-fluffy work of art.

No experience is necessary - just bring along an image for inspiration, or find some inspiration at SAM! All materials are included, including yarn, aida cloth, punch needle, wire for threading and markers to sketch our your design.
