SAM + OLLY present: Creative Arts and Storytelling (CAS)

28 February

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until 20 March 2024

Free

Join the SAM and OLLY teams for Creative Arts Storytelling (CAS) – a new six-week workshop series diving into filmmaking, poetry, and painting. Designed for teens aged 12 to 17, each session of collaborative art-making, facilitated by First Nations community groups and artists, will focus on a different method of creative storytelling to explore themes of spirituality, childhood, and social issues.

At the end of the program, the collaborative short film and painting created by CAS participants will be presented at the Shepparton Festival in April 2024.

CAS is delivered in partnership with the Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project and their after-school program OLLY.
