Join us at SAM for an evening in-conversation event between artist Belinda Fox and SAM Artistic Director Danny Lacy. Over an hour, the pair will explore Fox’s creative practice, which spans a range of disciplines and mediums, and the ideas and inspirations behind her recent showcase, More Than This.

About the artist:

Belinda Fox has forged an international career exhibiting in Australia, USA, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and Indonesia. She has received several notable awards, including: Northern Beaches Environmental Art & Design Award (paper category), 2022; Paul Guest Drawing Prize, 2010; and Burnie Print Prize, 2007. She been a finalist in many awards, including the Swan Hill Print & Drawing Award, and Fremantle Art Prize.

Fox has taken up a number of residencies, including a sculpture project with Urban Arts Projects (UAP) in Shanghai; painting in Provence, France; printmaking at C.A.P Studios, Thailand; and Skopelos, Greece.
