Every Wednesday 28th of October and 4th , 11th and 18th of November from 5pm – 6.30pm on ZOOM
No matter your cause, artist Aoife Billings has the stitch for you. Join her in this beginner-friendly course of embroidery that will make the heartstrings sing.
Learn how to make an embroidery patch for yourself or a loved one over this four-week intensive. Alternatively, why not donate your patch to a front-line worker as a good luck charm? The recipient can iron or sew the patch into their clothing as a charm for love, support and safety.
Participants will receive a materials pack with the purchase of the $10 ticket (please note, this is now a click and collect option from the SAM shop only).

Materials needed:
-Small embroidery hoop (with screws to tighten)
-Two chenille needles between the sizes 15-21 (a medium sized needle with the eye big enough for embroidery thread)
-At least 4 different embroidery thread colours (DMC embroidery thread is best for beginner’s as it’s less likely to fray)
-30cm of white cotton fabric cut off the roll, not sheer or as thick as denim, something in between
-Iron on patch backing
