VCE Industry Insights – Vipoo Srivilasa 

Join renowned artist Vipoo Srivilasa at SAM for an insightful artist talk designed especially for VCE arts students. A prominent ceramicist known for his intricate porcelain sculptures, Srivilasa will share with students his creative process, the concepts that drive his work, and the techniques that shape his distinctive visual language. Following the artist talk, SAM Exhibitions Manager Nick Baylart will highlight the key installation considerations behind Srivilasa’s new Flower Bears exhibition at SAM. 

This session is ideal for VCE Visual Art students in Art Making and Exhibiting and Art Creative Practice, helping them understand artistic intention, explore cultural influences, and gain inspiration for their own artmaking. 

Program details: 

Date + time: Thursday 22 May, 1.00pm-2.10pm 

Location: Level 4, Shepparton Art Museum, 530 Wyndham Street, Shepparton  

Price: Flat fee of $99 inc. GST for a group of 20 students (if additional students are attending, a fee of $5.50 per student will apply)
