Online Teacher PD workshop: Studio Practice for the Art Room

Thanks to all the innovative teachers who joined art educator Francine Sculli for the two-part online teacher professional development workshop for teachers in the Greater Shepparton Region and beyond.

These two workshops explored Teaching for Artistic Behaviour (TAB); a choice-based approach for all year levels to empower the voice of the learner. The TAB philosophy advocates that every child as an artist and the classroom as their studio. This could revolutionise your teaching practice! If you missed this PD have a look into the new TAB art teaching methodology and make your art room an art studio!

Francine Sculli will provide an introduction to the TAB methodology including practical hands-on activities to explore ways teachers can apply studio-thinking processes for all curriculum levels.

Accompanying this workshop is a teacher education resource consolidating the TAB approach with the Victorian Curriculum.

Session One – 10th June: Adopt a TAB approach

Session Two – 17th June: Studio Habits of Mind
