TANK
21 September – 1 November 2026
To coincide with Shepparton Art Museum’s presentation of Archibald Prize 2026, local artist and gallerist Tank invited artists within the region to create their own portraits celebrating inspiring figures within the Shepparton community for display at his Corio Street gallery. A selection of portraits by Tank drawn from his exhibition, entitled Shepparchies, is now on display on SAM’s Level 1, offering a local lens on the national prize, featuring portrayals of ABC Statewide broadcaster and journalist Nic Healey, Greater Shepparton City councillor Anthony Brophy, and community pillar Carmel Johnson.
