The Australian Welsh Male Choir

SAM Foundation Trustees present a remarkable musical performance by 60 world renowned choristers from the Australian Welsh Male Choir.
As part of the 2023 Shepparton Festival, the choir will delight the audience with Welsh classics such as Men of Harlech, Calon Lân, Pantyfedwen and Gwahoddiad, as well as other popular music and local favorites including songs from musical theatre, opera and gospel.
Light refreshments will be served before the performance. The event will conclude at 12:30pm.

About the Musicians
The Australian Welsh Male Choir is a choir of approximately 60 members singing in the spirit of the great male choirs of Wales. They sing in four-part harmony in the traditional format, and recently celebrated their 49th Anniversary.
The members share a love of music, the pleasure of singing together, and the camaraderie that comes from being part of a great group of men. While individual songs are sung in various languages, predominantly they sing in Welsh and English.
