In these two workshops, attendees will look and listen closely to the wetlands that surround SAM’s Amphitheatre. Activities, prompts and games will engage young people’s capacity to wonder and wander, translating what we see, hear and smell into a watercolour illustrated discovery guide. These illustrated guides could be used as a tool for exploration outside of this workshop, or become a gorgeous botanical artwork for display at home.

Attendees will be encouraged to bring a hat, water bottle and sunscreen, since this workshop will take place outdoors.
